With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Achilles ATR SPORT belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

I’m from South Africa to be precise I bought two sets of the same tyre for two different cars I own I did not even drive 3000km on both cars and the tyres separated and have bumps on the surface and side walls . Very disappointed in this brand. Bought the tyres at tygerwheel and tyres Strubenvally
Do not buy these if it rains in your country. No grip at all in the wet unless you granny it around, dry grip average at best. DO NOT BUY
I needed a set of cheap tires and thought these would suffice. Could never get them balanced properly. I even had the road force balanced and it made an improvement. These tires are fine for everyday driving but they are absolutely treacherous in the rain. Hydroplaning and almost zero grip. I bit the bullet and ordered some Continental Extreme contacts which hopefully will perform much better ( at almost triple the price) . The old adage you get what you pay for really applies here
OK tires in the dry, decent grip and feedback but nothing extraordinary or impressive by any means. Absolutely abysmal in the rain, no grip anywhere and very prone to hydroplaning. I was given a set of wheels with these, and I would not purchase them if they weren't given to me for free. Would not recommend this tire overall to anyone who values their life or the life of their passengers in any wet conditions. Better tires out there for your money. Overall a very average tire in the dry, and a deadly tire in the rain.
