All-terrain really is fifty-fifty: as much at home on tarmac as on an unpaved road. Cooper DISCOVERER AT3 LT belongs to this category. A chunkier block tread and reinforced construction bite on gravel, mud and rock and resist cuts better, while the tyre keeps usable manners in everyday traffic. It is the choice for SUVs and pickups that meet rough ground more than just now and then, yet still cover their daily kilometres on the road. Compared with a road tyre, expect more noise and a slightly longer wet braking distance.

What owners say
Put coopers on a 2013 Triton, NEVER AGAIN. The under steer was dangerous. Swapped them for both Goodrich and toyo from other tritons and both of these were fine. With the coopers I could turn the steering wheel a quater turn and back while doing 60k, if I did that with the goodies or Tokyo’s I’d be in the trees.
Cooper tyres didn’t help, the dealer took the tyres back on goodwill.
NEVER will try coopers again
Used on 2010 Tundra. The ride when new is fantastic. These have great traction in all conditions. Did not travel other than dirt roads when off pavement.Had 3 sets on this truck. The first set lasted maybe 45k. The second set 35K. The set currently will be replaced next week with only 22k. Although I have been getting the new ones discounted due to warranty I will seek another brand, maybe Nokian Outpost AT.
