What owners say
Use this on our smaller car which is used to short run around journeys. Noise isn't too bad, but grip in the dry is good, wet is okay, not the best but defiantly had worse!
The garage that fitted them is a Davanti dealer, we hit a pot hole yesterday which damaged the sidewall. Garage replaced under the warranty scheme and only cost of 25% of the tyre cost due to the tread wear.
I'm quite impressed with these tyres, they are good in the wet and dry and are comfortable
Going at 90km/hr on a slightly wet road when felt the tyres slipped and immediately skidded out of control. Dangerous tyres...
I've read several reviews here and I don't think they are thst bad. In my experience, DX390 has better safety reserve than Bridgestone Turanza T005. Better stability in corners (Turanzas let go much sooner than DX) and decent wet performance .
The downside is the noise. Turanza is much quieter than dx.
Dangerous. Rubbish in dry ABS kept kicking in. Slip all over in the wet - I'm taking pootling about at 30mph. The front and the back has lost it back going round roundabouts. Took them off after a couple of weeks. We have 2 Honda Streams so I know what they should drive like. The are fine with Bridgestone Turanza, Goodyear efficient grip, Landsail LS388 (yes- no bother whatsoever with these), and Michelin Cross Climate. The only other tyres I have had to remove were Khumo Ecowing from the rear as the back end would lose grip on them.
