The manufacturer adds a stiffer sidewall or a grippier compound, so the response is sharper at speed and through corners. The ideal is that none of it comes out of the tyre's mileage.

About 20000km driven ... Wet grip, dry grip, handling... Outstanding! Haven't been on snow or ice in Zagreb last couple of years but ... Definitly my 1st choice.
Hyundai Ioniq 5, very good all around winter tyre. Ice grip could be better for breaking and acceleration.
A very good tyre in every aspect. Very quiet for a winter tyre with no visible signs of wear after almost 10,000km. This was their first winter and as it was very mild here in northern Greece, I had but little chance to drive them on snow and none at all on ice.
Love these tyres , bought them on 3 separate occasions. I need a reliable car no matter what the weather, as I live in Scotland and do 15k miles a year for work. These tyres are also superb in the rain so I tend to leave them on till mid April and swap again mid September. Comfortable tyres , not noisy. Have to be changed in Summer as noticeably less grip and spongy in warmer weather.
