Well these tyres were fitted to my 1972 dodge dart demon 318 when I purchased the car a few weeks ago. The front left (drivers side was badly worn on the outer edge and I assumed tracking was out. However I was at a car meet talking a guy about the car and mentioned the tyre issue. He looked and said it looked like a structural failure in the tyre ie a metal band belt within the tyre had broken and deformed the tyre . Tried to contact Evergreen to ask where I could obtain a replacement (I’m in the U.K.) and I received an automatic response but no helpful information. Looks like I will have to ditch all four for another brand before I get a ticket. Shame as the other three have plenty of meat on the tread.
Excellent budget tyre with good all round performance. Had to increase pressures about 4 psi from factory recommendations to get the car to handle as it should. Can't comment on road noise (mentioned in some other reviews) but it doesn't really get a look in with a Lotus-Ford twin cam only a few inches from my left ear! I'm currently shopping around for my next set.
