Vs the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 2024, Nokian has much better ice grip.
On snow its, ice, dry, wet. I think it's a good overall quality tire.
Tempratures is rising around + degrees, still a solid tire.

It's a good overall nordic winter tire!
The first thing I noticed with the tires was the comfort. The ride is really smooth now.
Noise is low as well.
Comparing the handling to Contential All Season Contact 2, these tires was a more firmer ride over uneven roads but handling quite good.
Last year I had Nokian Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5, they were just amazing on ice and snow, since they updated the compound towards wet and lost a bit traction on snow and ice. I didn't want to take a chance on buying them again.
I got the Goodyears tires, am happy with the tires. Good to try out other brands.
Would I recommend Goodyear Ultra Grip 3? Yes! Prices are good.
Would I buy again? If there was no other tire with better snow and ice grip yes.
Highest speed limit in my area is around 100km/h (around 62mph)
I got 7 mm left on all tires. (manufactor says I should have 2,7bar front and 2,9 bar back, but when having that the front tires worn out really quickly and the back are like new so I changed to 2,6bar to all tires, seems to work fine)
I have been using this tyres last winter and I've dribe 6000 km . Its realy good tyres on snow, quite good on ice. But I must say I will never buy them again. Wearing is awful. New tyres have 8mm. In 1 season and in 6000km they lost 2mm. So that means I will finish my second season with 4mm or less what is absolutely terrible and not safe. I do not recommend them.
I changed from my worn out Hakka 8 studded tires to this tire and I'm pleasantly surprised after some initial miles. Keeping in mind that this is a nordic friction tire the dry is acceptable. Wet handling is good and above average grip from all the nordic winter tires i have driven so far.
Snow grip is good and very predictable, ice grip is good for a friction tire but if you need ice grip studded tires are the way to go.
Where the tire really shines is the comfort and noise part. Very quiet impression and the comfort has a rounded/isolated feel to it.
Overall a very nice balanced tire and would recommend to buy
