K115 VENTUS PRIME2

This was the first set of tyres I purchased with my own money, so I did a lot of research to find a dependable daily driver that balanced low rolling resistance with reliable wet grip. Overall, the Hankook Ventus Prime2 completely exceeded my expectations. They perform consistently well in both wet and dry weather, handling everyday commuting safely and smoothly. I understand that top-tier premium brands might offer slightly higher extreme performance limits, but for an everyday, real-world driver, the value for money here is unbeatable. Most impressively, after a massive 46,000 miles, they still have 3–4mm of tread depth remaining. While I have noticed a slight increase in braking distances recently, this is completely normal and expected wear for a tyre that has covered this much distance. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional durability, safety, and fantastic cost-per-mile value.

Put used, DOT16 Ventus Primes on my 2002 Renault Twingo 16v, went from 155/65R14 to 195/50R15, did like 500km on them and am super happy... Extremely soft tire, it's more comfortable than the 155/65R15's, the handling is superb, road feedback is amazing and the noise is actually mind-blowing at how quiet they are...
Bought them used for 60 eur, amazing condition with 6.5mm tread.

Average on pretty much everything. Wet grip, feedback, wear.
Driveable but did not really like them

Excellently tyres for the daily driver and by far the quietest I've ever had on my car. Great handling and braking performance in the dry and the wet. I found these tyres did not give great road feedback at standard pressure, likely due to the soft sidewalls but the trade-off was a very comfortable ride. Otherwise felt okay with higher pressures.
The only downside was the sides of the tyres wore out fairly quickly due to the curved profile of the tread and they had to be replaced even though there was plenty of rubber left in the centers. Alignment was fine - got a wheel alignment done when the new replacement tyres went on and there was no adjustment needed according to the report!

According to Hankook website these tyres are usable for around 50000 miles and 7 to 8 years old. Unfortunately these tyres were fitted as orriginal equipment to my golf reg oct 2017. Tyres manufacture end August 2017. At 4 years old 22000 miles mot failed because perished. Sent rear tyre back to Hankook under complaint as less than 50% worn.
Their technical dep t rejected claim as it was over 4 years old and they therefore rejected claim. WARNING IF YOU DRIVE A LOW MILEAGE CAR BE VERY WARY ABOUT ABOUT FITTING Hangkook tyres . High mileage cars are ok as they will be worn out before any fault shows.
