I just had new tires installed on my car. I did a lot of research. I couldn't find an economical tire. The branded ones were too expensive. I saw the Optimo brand at the tire shop. It's really great. Economical. I used it. Excellent in every way. No need to spend a lot of money. I recommend it.

Used in A33 Maxima FWD for almost 100k kms on NZ roads. Excellent in both wet and dry conditions. Used a family car and never had any issues driving in heavy rain. Not driven in snow. Never had any issues and no uneven wear as well. Got wheel alignment and balancing done when all 4 tyres were changed and it lasted almost 100,000kms. Highly recommend.

Now covered 42k miles and 5mm still remain, can't seem to wear them out. Think that hankook has stopped making them now which is a shame. No problems with braking in wet or dry conditions.

Used two times on two different Hyundai Tucsons: 1st 2012 1.6 GDI lasted over 60k kms, second Tucson again 2014 60kms again. Reasons that I quit observing kms was that I sold first at 60k km on the clock, second I had to replece them with winters.

Have driven 32k miles on these, fronts are down to 4.5mm rears 5.5mm expect to do at least another 10/15k before they need replacing. Have swapped back to front each year. May look for slightly quieter tyres next but can't fault the wear.
