K435 KINERGY ECO2

<p>After one a a half years and 8000 miles and i changed them. I previously used Continental and lasted over 3 years and 30000 miles.</p>

Have used these tyres for about 1 year now and over 20,000km across all types of roads, conditions and types of driving in south-eastern Australia.
When new, wet performance was great and these tyres felt safe and were quite stable at all speeds - from light rain to heavy downpours. After 1 year and some irregular wear due to alignment issues (no fault of the tyre), they noticeably aren't as strong in the wet but performance is still satisfactory.
Dry performance and lateral grip is great for an eco style tyre. The limit of these tyres are fairly high - dry grip shouldn't really be a problem unless you have a high powered vehicle/sportscar or are driving very aggressively on a public road.
I'm also happy with performance on light to medium gravel and unpaved roads. The tyres are predictable on loose surfaces - they don't have the raw grip of more "aggressive" road tyres or A/T tyres of course, but you shouldn't have any problems when driving responsibly, to conditions. The Kinergys have taken big hits from potholes/rough roads and there isn't any damage I can report. I've even gotten stuck in deep, sticky mud by accident and was able reverse out without any assistance or recovery gear (wouldn't recommend).
I'm happy with the noise levels - there was a drastic improvement when new compared to the 5+ year old Pirelli Cinturato P6 tyres previously mounted. Noise levels are nice and comfortable on smooth asphalt local roads + freeways, and there is a decent reduction of noise on loud (high speed) chip-seal roads. My vehicle is fairly loud inside due to its age and wind noise (shape), but the noise level of the Kinergy Eco 2 tyres still help to improve comfort.
Overall, these are good "all-round" tyres. For the price, they are good at everything and there aren't any "bad" points (from my experience). They are great value, especially on sale.

these things are so noisy i'm on here looking for a replacement for them after 5000 miles.

Changed all four tyre one and a half year ago with Hankook tyres. Probably the worst tyres I have ever had. No grip what so ever no matter the conditions. Noisy, no fuel efficiency and worn superfast.
Very disappointing.

End of life review of this tyre. It's been performing well for the first 3 years of use, with good traction overall. It is wearing very evenly and after around 30.000km it is down to 5,5mm and that's impresive. Granted it;s a small and light city vehicle that doesn't wear the tires fast, but they lasted better than the previous continental eco contact 5.
In it's 4th summer now and the first signs of dry rot appeared, followed by loss in grip. The tire spins easy, abs engages often and it doesn't seem safe anymore. It is expected here (Greece) that after 4-5 years you will have to change tyres due to hot weather and the intense sunlight, but these tyres seem like they fall of a cliff after the 3rd year. Will probably buy again depending on availability and price.
