Focus: Mud Terrain
Mud-terrain is an unambiguously specialised tyre for heavy going — mud, deep ruts, snow, rocks. Insa-turbo DAKAR is one of them. Large tread blocks with deep voids clear themselves and dig in where an ordinary tyre only slips. You pay for it on the road: more noise, less comfort, longer braking distances and higher fuel consumption. If most of your kilometres are on tarmac, this is more tyre than you need.

T bought these tyres for my 91 vw t3 syncro.. my old tyres were a pair of nankang ft9..
On the road they are a bit noisy.. but i dont mind.. im driving a 4x4 and not a family car.
On semi wet terrain they stick to the ground really good and even in 2x2 mode i didn't got stuck.

Very good for what I got them for, which is to pull a horse box out of a muddy field which my Nivara now carries out with ease. In the dry they are very competent but noisey on the high way and off road no issues at all.
In the wet the rear will break away easily but controllably but no aquaplaning is evident.
In snow they work OK but they have limits (Not winter tyres) and Ice is best handled with great care.
Obviously a compromise for high way use, but for what I need they real do work well and I recommend them for muddy conditions
Very noisy on road compated to the Maxxis that came off, excellent in soft mud and snow but lethal on ice.
