LATITUDE SPORT 3

The Michelin Latitue Sport 3 is well suited to my heavy SUV, the tyres are mostly quiet being only niosey on poor worn out road surfaces. The rolling resistance is very good and suit the car well. This is the original set of tyres on the car having covered 41000 miles in 6 years and still have at least 4mm of tread left but if I have a complaint it is that I will have to change the tyres before its upcoming MOT as the tyres are showing signs of cracking where the side wall meets the tread.

I have a Mercedes Benz GLE 450 with Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tires. These are factory set. After approx. 16,500 km, they started to be extremely noisy...the noise is annoying while driving!!! I now have 43,000 km on them and will be changing them early.

I had these types with the branda new Honda CRV 1.5 Turbo in 2019. Tyres date 21 week 2018, type 101Y. In 5 years and 4 months I did over 66,000 km. Now I started noticing some wear on the surface. I had mix use of the car, dual carriageways and other roads that are not very smooth. I am very happy and happy with the economy too. I had at least 5-6 nail punctures too.

These came stock on my new 2022 Volvo XC60. Nearing 75K KM and just getting ready to change them out. They've held up incredibly well in Mexico's bumpy and pothole-abundant roads. They're noticeably noisy now but up until 50-60K KM you won't notice anything. They are particularly strong tires in the rain, never lose any control in hard braking and you always feel like you have control of the vehicle. They are definitely expensive but going with the old adage, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Will be buying again.

Initial 1,000 miles on 2021 Porsche Macan base. Tires grip extremely well on dry surface and great on damp-to-wet surface. Heavy rain, ice, snow not tested. You can feel them gripping when accelerating. Handling is great, not greatest, but great. Of course on a Porsche they just handle that much better. They are surprisingly quiet being a sporty tire, yet they are firm. Firmness of tire + tighter suspension gives a fair amount of recoil back into the vehicle over bumps, which may be jarring to some. Most will not notice this if used to driving performance-oriented vehicles. Keep in mind this is on 19" wheels and on an already fairly stiff suspension. In normal conditions, tires perform excellent. They plant the car down at high speeds, in turns, and brake very well too. Tires are not old enough to rate longevity.
Strongly recommend to anyone with Porsche Macan or other luxury crossovers/SUVs. Great daily tire in warmer climates while not sacrificing a lot of that performance "oomph" if needed.
