With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Michelin PILOT SPORT belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

Absolutely the best tyres I have ever had. Yes, they are expensive but you do get what you pay for. This is my second set on the fronts which the previous ones had covered 30K miles and somehow they seem quieter than the set before. Not sure why or whether there has been an upgrade or they are simply new.
The rears still have some life in them but I will be changing these later in the year.
Little tip, ensure your tracking is setup correctly. Makes all the difference in the wear.
In conclusion, you won't be disappointed in the Michelins. Enjoy and drive safely.
I bought the tires two years ago, I did 15,000 miles with them and they can do more.
The thing I liked most about these tires was the feedback with the 2 ply side wall, Above 50 km they make noise. Above 25 degrees you grip a little better than a Pilot Sport 4. And below 10 degrees on a wet road a very, very dangerous tire !.
The tire costs about twice as much as the Pilot 4 pilot but He is no twice as good.

These came N rated on my 2011 911 (2019 manufacture) and they grip well when warm but would say very noise tyre for Michelin. I would go with PS4S or PS4 next time round. It feels like a tyre from an older generation.
