PRIMACY 5 ENERGY

<p>The Michelin Primacy 5 Energy are very silent, they grip well both in dry and wet conditions and they last quite a long time. Overall I'm quite impressed by the quality provided by those tires.</p>

I purchased the Michelin Primacy 5 Energy today for my EV, and the improvement was noticeable immediately.
I was previously using the Falken Azenis FK520L, but found it quite harsh and noisy, even with soundproofing done on the car. As the tyres wore down, wet handling also became less confidence-inspiring, and I could occasionally feel the tyres losing traction in wet conditions.
After switching to the Primacy 5 Energy, the ride feels much smoother, quieter, and more refined overall. What impressed me most was the immediate drop in energy consumption — my EV efficiency improved by around 5 kWh/100 km compared to my Falkens.
For daily driving, especially in an EV where comfort, quietness, wet grip, and efficiency matter, the Primacy 5 Energy feels like a huge upgrade. Very happy with the purchase so far.

if you want a silent cabin vitara go and buy this tyre its the only one . only downside is too expensive.

Replaced on my VW ID.3 Pro (204HP) the factory Continental EcoContact 6 (215/55 R18 95T), which were honestly disappointing and danger to drive due to way to soft sides. Quite strange they weren’t XL, considering how heavy this EV is...
This is why I switched to Michelin Primacy 5 Energy 99V XL with rim protection – and the difference is huge.
Grip and stability improved a lot. The car now feels extremely confident, almost like a sporty setup (even though these aren’t Pilot Sports). Cornering is perfect. I also can comfortably carry 20 km/h more through bends and the tyres just hold.
Comfort is very good, and they stay quiet on the highway. I would explain that in EVs, most of the noise comes from airflow and wind anyway, then tyres – so expectations need to be adjusted a bit. For anyone new to EV driving, it feels like a mix of:
a car (because of the tyres),
a plane (wind noise outside cabin),
a train (smooth, heavy, linear acceleration).
Also worth mentioning: they look really good. Clear “Michelin” branding, and the little Michelin Man with a raised hand almost feels like he’s greeting you every time you walk up to the car – small detail, but it genuinely improves my mood :)
Overall: big upgrade over OEM tyres – excellent handling, stability, and still great comfort.

I expected a super quite, comfortable and fuel efficient tyre. The tyre is indeed quite and super fuel efficient. My average got fuel consumption got improved by 1,5km on a liter. The comfort however, on slik adphalt it is, But the imperfections are not filtered and my interior rattles more than my Bridgestone Winter tyre. I’ve lowered the fuel pressure but it did not improve. I’m a bit puzzled why the road feedback is so hard on the little imperfections. Perhaps it is the hard compound focus on fuel saving.
