PROGREEN PT525

Bought these tires when i was tight on budget. All fours on my Astra. Had used Goodyear, Lassa, Michelin and Continental on my other cars before. This tire is a decent option if you rarely get rain and use it on dry road on highways. They started dry rotting but i pushed them on crappy roads to be fair. My rear right tire got 3 punctures, i also had punctures before on all the brands i mentioned before but these kept leaking air and didn't hold on to the patch even though it was prepped properly. Replaced my rear tires with Michelin cross climate 2's and will do the same on the front when they start getting bald. Road comfort is god awful in these tires i got scared my rear suspension was going to blow on rough roads. After switching to cc2's it got so much more comfortable to drive. When it comes to grip i did an emergency brake test on 60 km/h with my foot flat on the brake pedal, i just heard light squeaking and it came to a decent stop on dry road. On wet roads though it skids a little and really tests the limits of your ABS. Road feedback is really just meh even on dry roads. And as i said they wear rather quick compared to some of the other tires i used before and they also dry rotted even though i used my car frequently. I'd say if you're tight on budget and rarely get rain and drive mostly on highways, it's a fine tire. Would i buy it again even if i was tight on budget (for my conditions at least)? NO. You can really get better tires for this price i think.

Currently at about 60,000km on these tyres bought during Feb 2021. Observed slight cracks along sidewall. 2 of my tyres not rotating straight during balancing. Mechanic feedback another tyre seems to be slightly off shape. Didn't really really have the chance to stress test the tyres but dry grip is ok. Wet grip was still alright but there was once I e-brake during a rainy day at about 60-70km/h, my car skidded. I think there are better tyres out there there with better price. I don't recommend these tyres.

Today is Week 26 of Year 2021 (2621).
My Petlas Progreen PT525 tyres were purchased in Singapore in December 2020. They were manufactured in Week 34 of Year 2020 (3420).
In just half a year of usage, covering a distance of 14000km, less than 1 year from manufacturing date, they started developing cracks on the sidewalls, similar to those that you would see only on tyres 5 years or older.
Either the rubber was not suitable for Singapore climate resulting in the rubber drying out and "dry rotting", or there was some serious QC deficiency in the manufacturing process.
For safety reasons, they have since been replaced and thrown away.
Such a shame considering the tyres provided decent grip in dry and wet, though the road noise and comfort were average. Those of you who are running on Petlas, suggest you check the sidewalls for cracks.
Will never buy Petlas tyres again in future.

Awesome tyre from Turkey. Was not expecting the performance to be as good as those known premium brands.
These Progreens are still gripping as it wears... Am on 50,000km now and the tread depth is still deep... should be able to last another 30,000km.
