ANGEL GT II

hi to all , i ride z900 rs ,got 11k from gt's and now my gt 2 are due ,i got 18 k on them very happy ;;thay keep up with diablos on country roads at very high speeds on max corner thay will slide , but let you know their limit ,,

I Have worn down my second pair and I made 11.000km with pack. Yes it is hard to belive but it is true. I ride Moto Guzzi Norge 1200cc - it has 245kg and me with 115kg. I drive mainly up on regulations.
The tyre is a beast and must have.

Have these tires on a "sport touring" VFR800 6gen. Not used for commuting everyday, but rather for all gas no brakes activities when i take it, or used to travel with a pillion and all the luggage for a long distances.
At this point tires have 17k kms on them.
Front tire: Started cupping a little bit @10k from both sides from the center. Center ridge is fine, but you can feel unevenness near it with a finger, or sometimes when tire pressure is high(hot summer day) while cornering.
Rear tire: Held really well considering how many straight up, high speed kms are on it. About third is with a pillion and luggage on. @17k kms rear tire is absolutely squared off and is about 1mm from wear limits.
Had no issues with traction whether its dry or wet. From all these kms i've done with them, just a couple rear slips when rear was obviously too cold and i was expecting it to slip, nothing more. Would buy again.

I've driven approximately around 3000 km's now on these tires with my Tracer 700. I must say I'm very satisfied with these Pirelli's. Grip in the dry is as you would expect from a premium tyre. The tyre gives confidence in the corners, without feeling too soft. Also, the rear of the bike never stepped out so far. Grip in the wet is very good with these tyres. On a weekend inthe Eifel in Germany it was pouring rain (we where there already, so we went riding to make the most of our trip). On the twisty roads the tyres boosted my confidence in the bike. Handling was good and braking performance was exceptionnel. I've had no ABS interference with these tyres (as long as you brake in normal circumstances, thus not stomping the brake, but braking progressively).
My only concern is the wear. Thread on the tyres is still in very good shape. But since I often commute on the bike (highway) the rear tyre is beginning to square off a bit. With the Dunlop Roadsmart 3's I had on before, I feel it took longer before they started to feel squarly. As compared to the Dunlops the dry grip of the Pirelli's is better. Dunlops stepped out on me on some occasions, Pirelli's did never so far. Wet grip on the Pirelli's is about the same, but braking on the Pirelli's feels a bit more confident.

I've run my bike usually 120-170kph often in rough cement and smooth asphalt. Love the twisties and it shows on my tire wear. I'm confident even in rain or wet roads. I've had no problem so far.
