SCORPION ZERO

I have a Volvo XC40 PHEV; these tyres didn't last at all. There are no mechanical imperfections in the car. Indeed, I did not rotate those, but once I wanted to do it they were totally worn out. This is the second time this has happened with these Pirelli tyres, I won't try again.

Ran a set of these for 40k miles before having a huge knot form on one of them. They were decent tires, since they came stock I figured I'd give them a chance. Overall I choose to go back with michelin defenders. I've always had good luck with them.

Fitted to Landrover Discovery 4. Fine in the dry, aquaplanes easily in wet, and terrifying in even light snow. Noise is very low except for where the road has the slots across it to aid braking, where it resonates, sometimes badly.
The snow and wet performance is so poor, I am replacing these tyres midlife.

Very bad wear

Dry grip is good, even on hot twisty fast mountain roads, but they do squeal when on the limits like an American cop car in the movies.
Wet grip is good, no aquaplaning as yet, which is better than my previous Grabber and Goodyear.
Very responsive to road surface changes.
Off the tarmac they perform well on grass, in dust and over dry rock but clog quickly in mud.
A good all round tyre for mainly road use but still a good performer off road.
M+S marked and great in fresh snow.
