The largest and best-selling category, and Tigar WINTER 1 belongs to it. No single property is pushed here at the expense of the others — comfort, grip, noise and tread life keep a sensible balance. For most drivers it is the safest bet: the tyre behaves predictably in the dry and in the wet and covers a decent number of kilometres.

What owners say
Although sometimes Tigar tires are a decent budget purchases, this particular blend is problematic, since I was unable to notice any benefits of this tire, except the wear seems to be very low. It tends to track along road undulations made by trucks very heavily and has sudden loss of grip on low temperature surfaces, seemingly with no ice.
It seems to me like one of those compliance tires, made to fulfill the regulatory requirement for winter tires.
I had these tyres for four years on Fiat Punto. They proved to be reliable, versatile and surprisingly long lasting. Probably they are underrated, but it is a Michelin technology tyre manufactured in Europe. There are better tyres, but not for this little money.
My tyres actually labelled as Sebring Formula SNOW+ SUV, but they are still made in Serbia and the same compound and profile as the Tigar Winter 1.
They have a very numb feedback, but it makes them very comfortable. Was able to go pretty far in the snow, but nothing great. Never gave me a lot of confidence in the wet or the dry.
I was very surprised that these tires would stay in excellent shape this long because they were some of the cheapest I could buy. I planned to change them after two winters, but they are still going strong, great value for the price.
Bought these in autumn 2014, they were the cheapest winter tyres of this size at the time.
Good on snow, not very good traction on wet sleet or ice
Dry braking is long.
After 5 years they still had good elasticity.
