With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Triangle EFFEXSPORT TH202 belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

A fantastic all round sportish tyre for the price. grips very well in dry and wet conditions, perfect for the summer and cooler months anything above 5 degrees the tyre will perform fine...road feedback and responsiveness not the best at all but it will do the job safely. poor on icey/frosty roads watch out for that and keep the ESC on for the bendy corners. badly affects consumption when worn out or down it will worn down if you are a sport/spirited driver. Max 26000km max.
I have these tyres on a 2007 Hiace van. The van is used for all duties including holidays, i own a van rather than an SUV as its more user friendly. The Triangle Effexsport TH202 have been great tyres. I note that the van is very stable when driving on twisty New Zealand roads. In the wet the tyres give me a surprising amount of confidence. I flatted a tyre at speed on the motorway, the tyre stayed on the rim but was damaged (creased sideway due to driving a distant while flat to get to a safe spot).
Yes i would buy again, in fact i just did.
Had these tyres on my car for just over 3 months covering less than 3,000 miles and the fronts had to be replaced and the rear wear down to 3mm tread. only motorway driving with no harsh acceleration or braking, performed terribly in wet conditions when changing lanes on the motorway you could feel the loss of grip. would never buy this brand again.
Had these on before on a previous car for 2 years, had a full set fitted in August on my A4, I hit a boulder on the road at 60mph and surprisingly it was still in tact, some damage but still held up, definitely durable and got me home at the end. Over inflation did have a major wear effect on it previously on my Quattro though so maybe that’s only thing I can complain about
