With sport tyres, grip in every situation is what decides — under hard acceleration, under braking, in the dry and in the wet. Vredestein Ultrac Vorti belongs to this group. Stability at higher speeds and precision through corners come on top of that. One thing drivers often underestimate when buying: grip comes from a softer compound, and a softer compound wears faster. Where a standard tyre covers roughly 40,000 km, a sport tyre manages about 20,000 to 30,000 km — and considerably less with a sharper driving style or a heavier, more powerful car.

my best set of tires I have ever owned, tanks potholes really well, no sidewall damage and I can count the puntures I have had on one hand. The wear got reduced due to bad alignement that meant it wore more on the inside than the outside, otherwise these tires would have lasted upto 80,000km. Very comfortable driving on them, road noise is also quite good, not too loud.
My only gripe is when you push them hard on a very hot day they don't have as much grip as the goodyear Eagle F1 Assymmetric 5 that I used to own, and they are also heavier which affects acceleration on my Honda Stream.
But these are really excellent tires, I would classify them as premium touring tires.
Don’t buy, I’ve only had the tyres 18 months and they’re covered in cracks and causing the tyre to deflate. Tyres are only 2 years from manufacture.
Stiff carcass, great feedback and handling when new.
If you drive a lot, go for it.
Thrown away after 3 years, became to dry and went all over the place. No dry rot.

3 year old from manufacture and lots of cracking resulting in the tyres deflating. DO NOT BUY!
Poor Wet Grip with compared with Michelin and Contis and the tyre aquaplaned even in very little water accumulated on the road.
