The most interesting result is the victory of the new Nokian Tyres Seasonproof 2, which won overall, despite being a mid-range tire competing with premium models. They achieved maximum points on wet roads, winning in every category of the wet test. Testers called this proof that mid-range tires are now a real threat to premium products in the rankings.

Michelin and Continental showed their different strengths. The CrossClimate 2 was best in snow, with the shortest braking distances and fastest acceleration, while also dominating in dry braking. The AllSeasonContact 2 was the most consistent tire on all surfaces, which testers highlighted as a safety benefit, as it doesn't let drivers down when conditions change.

In the lower-cost segment, the Polish Dębica Navigator 3 overtook the more expensive Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 mid-range tire. The Dębica performed consistently in all tests and had the lowest rolling resistance. The Yokohama fared only well on wet roads and was the loudest tire with the worst fuel economy. The Chinese Sunny NC501 raised safety concerns. It performed acceptable on dry and snow roads, but failed on wet roads. Testers described its wet braking as borderline dangerous and warned that it did not provide sufficient safety during emergency braking in the rain .
