Winner: Nokian Seasonproof 2
The Nokian Seasonproof 2 took first place in the test with a strong overall score. It performed best in wet braking and handling, as well as in snow handling. It also showed very good results on dry surfaces, although it was slightly slower in dry braking than the premium Michelin. The tire is balanced across all conditions, making it a strong choice for everyday drivers .
Premium competitor: Michelin CrossClimate 2
The Michelin CrossClimate 2 came in second with a high overall score. This premium all-season tire excels in dry braking and snow, offers stable handling and low fuel consumption thanks to its low rolling resistance. However, it lost points to the Nokian in wet conditions.
A good choice from the budget class: Debica Navigator 3
The Polish Debica Navigator 3 came in third place, a great result for the budget class. It dominated the test in dry handling and showed consistent performance in all conditions. It also has the lowest rolling resistance in the test, which contributes to better fuel economy.
Other results
- The Kumho Solus 4S HA32+ came in 4th place with balanced performance across surfaces, especially good on wet surfaces and snow.
- The Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ finished 5th thanks to its strong wet performance, but weaker winter results and higher rolling resistance affected its ranking.
