VICTRA SPORT 5 (VS5) SUV

<p>So I have tried these tyres on the rear axle of my 470 hp, 1.7 t car, and I have to say that initially, when I put them on the car, I was very impressed. For the money, they have quite decent grip and a smooth transition while losing grip. That changed after a few heat cycles. Now the tyres have lost almost all grip and are incredibly hard. So I would say that for normal driving, they offer very good value for money. However, if you intend to drive the car hard, I would not choose them again. I have bought a set for my wife's Mini Cooper S F56, and I have to say they work very well on that car and are still very grippy, because the car is driven quite normally, although sometimes a bit spiritedly by me. :D</p>

<p>These came factory on my Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV SUV. Lack of traction during acceleration is an issue, not a great feeling of confidence in the wet. These have worn fast. I will not be replacing them with the same tyres</p>

The tires were purchased thanks to TyreReviews. It's where I found them, analyzed the available tests, and decided they would be suitable for me. My wife uses the car daily, and I haven't heard any comments about the tires.
Personally, I mostly drive the car during family trips and holidays, and since I live in Germany (DE), the speeds I travel at are higher than the recommended 130 km/h. I always feel confident on the road, whether in the sun or rain; the tires have never let me down. I'm not just a 'straight-line master'; I like taking corners dynamically, and the car has 4x4 drive. The grip is always very good. I have never lost traction. I wouldn't expect excessive comfort from a 19-inch tire size, so it's hard for me to evaluate that aspect. I also don't have much comparison to top-tier brands. Previously, I had Pirellis that simply burst on the inside sidewall. The Maxxis VS5s after 3 seasons with me have micro-cracks on the edges. The tires are coated with Meguiars gel after every car wash. The tread depth remaining is 4mm. Because of this, I have a dilemma: should I buy new ones or leave them for another season? If I were to buy new ones, I would consider the same model again, but I know the Maxxis VS6 is now available, so I will likely buy the newer, improved model instead.
I am a proponent of the price-to-quality ratio and I think these tires are a very good choice. It's a shame there are so few available tests for this type of tire, because we all know that premium tires are always a good choice.

Ive had these tyres for 1 year now and after using them on a daily basis in my Mazda Demio (mazda 2 jdm variant) and driven around 30000-35000km on them honestly it was a blast. In the dry the grip is amazing, although in hot conditions it tends to wear out quick, even went to a track day where i did around 10-15 laps of testing the cars limit. In wet conditions they are also really good and live up to the rating as no matter how wet it is the grip is optimal to a certain point obviously and felt very safe. Cant tell you how smooth of a drive they are as i have aftermarket coilvers so any tyre combination will feel stiff on bumps and potholes. Couple days ago (they were on their last 6k kilometres before being worn out completely) i popped them on a zig-zag road on a tiny pebble. So once these tyres are on their last 10000km you should change them before you get left on the side of the road. Ive also noticed the outside of the tyre got worn out faster than other areas of the tyre, although the rims were always perfectly balanced, probably because of the heavy spirited driving. Other than that a pretty good clearance pick, as u can get michelin PS4/PS5s for a tiny amount more when you get fresh tyres. In my case they were the last 4 tyres and were heavily discounted, hence why i got them.

These tyres were nice, fun and safe to drive. First two seasons were a blast. Third one rubber got a bit harder and I noticed it on wet road. Will buy them again for new e-tron. Best price / performance ratio. Highly reccomend these tyres!
