CROSSCLIMATE+

<p>Almost perfectly satisfied with this tires. Past winter they lost grip in wet and icy backyard, but I managed to break away after some maneuvering, 15 seconds most, nothing serious. It was first winter driving BMW ( back wheels drive ), so I was prepared for something like that to happen. Also a bit of aquaplaning with the same car 3 years ago,I felt that I lost contact with the surface after hitting a rain pond driving 80 miles per hour. It lasted for couple of seconds,not reflecting control.I just felt it.Otherwise, perfect,comfortable. Maybe I will try Kleber Qudraxer 3 next time. Same tire,basically, just 30% cheaper. I would recommend these tires to anyone that drives normally. I also drove Hankooks,Goodyears, even laufens, all of them allseasons.They were very good too, Michelins are just more comfortable. You will have no problem.For overenthusiastic drivers...no tire will keep them safe.</p>

I have these tires on a 2004 Ford Fiesta. Having 4 Michelins, they were good but tended to overheat in the summer, giving a feeling of floating when pushed hard. At over 50% wear, their performance was mediocre in the rain, especially in roundabouts: significant understeer at 30 km/h. Replaced by Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons at the front, much better despite a shorter lifespan; I prefer a better tire that lasts less time. The Michelins at the back have 60,000 kilometers but are 5 years old, so they will be replaced by Goodyears.

Even when worn out, they perform well in snow and ice but not in rain. They don't stand out in any way

We have been using the tires for approximately 32000 KM, there is still 1 year left before the end of its life but it has never burst and the wear rate is lower than the tires we used before. I have used the tires in all weather conditions, both summer and winter. It is an ideal tire if you are not going to use it in very heavy snow. I have used the tires on city roads, highways and rural areas and I am very satisfied.

MX-5 NA with 1.8 VVT engine, fitting 195/50R15 to 15x6" Enkei MK2 sport rims for all season fast road driving in the UK including 700mi straight trips from south coast England to Scottish highlands in winter.
