Focus: Eco-standard

The middle ground between economy and an ordinary tyre — Yokohama AE51 sits exactly here. The manufacturer aims to keep fuel consumption low without paying for it with the weaker wet behaviour typical of purely economical models. In practice it is a tyre for drivers who cover a lot of kilometres and do not want to give up much safety along the way.
