MULTISEASON2

<p>Used in multiple road conditions and seasons, can't say I am really displeased about them, they are fine for the price, decent grip and pretty good fuel economy. During rain you can really estimate the limits of the tire and the car, however these tires are not suited for heavy winter weather, such as ice or snow, the tire, despite its tread, is struggling to find grip and getting the car rolling is quite a difficult task and at medium to low speeds, during said conditions, the car becomes unstable; didn't have enough courage to go faster as the car was feeling like a sled.</p><p>Overall they are pretty good if where you live it doesn't snow a lot, they can handle cold temperatures and rain completely fine and summer driving (you must pay attention to braking distances during summer as the tire becomes really soft), as long as you don't overplay your hand too much. Very good on fuel and cheap to buy.</p><p>The tires were mounted on a VW Passat B7 Variant 2.0TDI 103KW, 6-speed manual transmission, front wheel drive.</p>

I only have these tyres ' Firestone MultiSeason 2 ' a month or so now and my initial impressions are all positive so far. I had Hankooks for about 4 years and I was very hesitant about changing brands but I'm glad I did. Dry grip is very good and wet grip is very good also, the car feels very planted and smooth. Recommended to others 100%

After 25000 km tyres were undrivable in winter and it started dry rotting faster then other tyres

Please avoid these tyres if you live anywhere where summer temperatures usually go above 30 degrees Celsius. They simply cannot cope with the heat and they are literally dangerous when breaking in hot conditions. Braking is so poor when hot and dry, it is simply hard to believe how bad it is. However, when it is cold, it is another story, definitely they feel lot more secure. Also in rain no troubles, whatsoever. They also feel secure in directional stability when driving at higher speeds. This winter there was no snow (or ice) at all here in Serbia, so I cannot comment on snow properties.
