QUATRAC

I have been using Vredestein Quatracs for 4 years now. They have done 60,000 km so far (mostly commuting and school runs, but also several longer trips). The tyres still have plenty od tread (4-5 mm). During this winter they will reach the winter indicators and they will definitely last through the next summer, so it will be more than 4.5 years and approximately 70,000 km.
They are very good, quiet, very grippy in the wet and fine even in the occasional snow. I would definitely recommend them. It is difficult to comment on handling or road feedback, as the car is really not handling-focused and the tyre sidewall is huge. On the other hand the comfort is very nice. The only negligible drawback is that the tread blocks like to tear a little more then ussual and I don't drive in any off-road conditions at all. It does not seem to have any adverse effect on the performance though. In comparison to other cars in the family I have seem similar problem on Pirelli Cinturato SF3. The Bridgestone Turanza 6 AS and Toyo Celsius AS2 seem to be more resistant to this.
Overall I have been very satifsied and I can recommend them.

I purchased a full set Nov 24 so I've driven with them for a full year and am very happy with their performance. I've used them in snow on a few occasions and provide better grip than the Bridgestone A005's that they replaced. Saying that, both tyres are way superior to the factory fitted summer Bridgestone's which were hopeless in snow and ice. I much prefer the Vredesteins for winter than the A005's but I think for the A005's provided better handling for normal conditions. I would definitely buy them again but may try Bridgestone Turanza when I need to replace.

I am very satisfied with these tyres. After 3.5 years and 55000 km they still hold on strong. Grip is very balanced in all conditions. (The car had Goodyear Vector gen 2 on it when I bought it. They were almost dangerous in wet at 4 years/50000 kms.)
I was planning to replace the Quatracs this autumn, but they still have 6 mm tread left. Thought I'd give them a chance. Now winter is starting and it still has quite decent grip on cold roads. Yestersay it was snowing and there was no drama in the slush. I can feel the weaker wet grip on painted road surfaces. There you can break traction in first gear very easily. So probably this is their last winter and I will replace them next autumn.
Dry rot is minimal, but micro cracks on the tread are visible if you watch closely. Sidewalls still look perfect. I think it is normal at this age.
These tyres were very silent when new. Now they have a little noise on highway, but still not bad. Wind and engine noise are still dominating at speed.
Comfort wise they transfer quite a lot of vibration on cobble stones, but I can't compare it to other tyres on the same car.
Road feedback is far from a good summer tyre but that is expexted. These tyres are not made for spirited driving.
I will probably buy the same tires next year if Vredestein does not some out with a new one. They have proven to me that one tyre can do it all.

I have used Quatrac for 4 years now and after 57000 km they still have 5 mm of tread depth. They will definitely survive the upcoming winter and the next summer. So far, I have been very satisfied with the tyres, they seem to handle all conditions pretty well. I have not driven them in very snowy conditions as we do not get a lot of snow in Central Europe anymore. Surprisingly, it has won the 2025 Autobild SUV test and scored good in Autobild car test even though it is not the newest tyre anymore. I would definitely recommend Quatrac and it will definitely be a hot candidate next Autumn when I will be shopping for the next set of tyres for the car.

On the positive side the tyre is very comfortable but unfortunately there is absolutely a lack of grip in both dry and wet conditions ! This black circle called a tyre is an absolute nightmare and waste of money! In my 35 years of driving I have never had such a really bad tyre !!! I won't be spending no more money on Vredestein tyres !
