K135 ventus Prime4

<p>6 Months is very hot over 30 Celsius, summer is well over 36 to 38. Imagine how hot is the road.
I did not expect to last long but they got stiff and traction is not that good. I mean from 1.5 liter engine producing 150hp and 250nm torque you dont expect to spin wheels with 2nd when you just get in boost with 2000rpm. If you push it in corners traction take over because the outer well spin like crazy. The compound was suppose to become softer in summer, but NO, is getting harder. Imagine in winter. This is the 1st time i put Hankook and the last. For me Dunlop, Goodyear or Michelin.</p>

<p>Tires are great for the price, they hold well in the dry and wet, aquaplaning doesn't feel as solid like on the Uniroyal rainsport 3 i had before, but nonetheless they perform excellent, braking is also excellent, they hold on snow and cold climate, I had to drive 30khm on snow and they did a great job. I drove those ventus prime 4s really hard, primarily on mountain passes so constant cornering, on an audi a4 1.8t quattro, after 15.000khm they were down to the indicators sure i could go more, they still performed great, no issues. Probably awd and hard cornering played a crucial role to them wear down so fast. Anyway overall a great tire !</p>

An okay tire in dry and wet conditions, a bit noisy on the road, but a tire I wouldn't recommend if the car is parked on a gravel driveway. You'll go crazy with all the stuff that sticks and comes out onto the street, so never again with such a tire.

<p>great tyres for their indended purpose, and they can also handle a fair bit of spirited driving. I switched to the after using Toyo Celsius all season tyres, fenomenal dry and especially wet grip, handling also, Toyo's could not handle any bit of speed into the corner like the Hankook. Although if I recall correctly Hankok is a bit louder, but nothing that bothers.</p>

<p>I switched to these from a F1A6 as I got a great deal on these Ventus Prime 4. They are 2 totally different categories but I thought of trying them because I changed jobs and now I'm having more motorway mileage thus a touring tyre would suit my needs better.</p><p>Overall from the get go dry and wet grip was amazing especially braking distance in the wet. Its wet braking felt so good it was like the road was dry! But subsequently the grip slightly dropped off after some miles. Steering response for a touring tyre was excellent and aquaplaning resistance was pretty good</p><p>Comparatively the sidewall does feel softer which is expected from a touring tyre. When I initially pumped to my cars recommended tyre pressure the sidewalls flexed a lot under turning which made the car feel a lot less confident in the bends.</p><p>I pumped it up to 38psi, up from the 32-36psi recommended. The tyre felt loads better. Same with the noise at a higher psi it was slightly quieter overall.
The tyre was way noiser and perceivably lower comfort overall than the F1A6.</p><p>Rolling resistance felt higher in this than the F1A6 too.</p><p>In conclusion, I don't think that these are a terrible tyre to use, they grip pretty well and are very comfy for daily drives better than the OEM P7s on my car. They offer great value and are a cost effective option to other top tier brands.</p>
