<p>I drive my BMW I7 xDrive60 like a little old lady and the Yokohama’s wore out in less than 10,000 miles. In addition, they are “proprietary” to BMW dealers and you can’t buy them anywhere else. I went with Pirelli PZ4 tires. Can get them at Costco. MUCH quieter, more comfortable ride. They also wear out quickly, perhaps a bit less quickly than the Yokohama’s, but the mileage you do get is much more enjoyable on the Pirelli’s.</p>

<p>These tyres are very good for hard sporty driving and even for some track days. I had them on my 470 hp, 1.7 t RWD car and did multiple track days with them. For street use, you need to put some heat into them first for them to start working properly, but once warmed up, they become very grippy tyres. Also, many reviews mention that they have a properly stiff sidewall and very direct steering. I have to say it's not bad, but from my experience, it was not quite as perfect as the reviews made it sound.</p>

I drive in the lake district, so weather is pretty irratic. Lots of rain. My i30n in the dry is glued to the road, the yokohamas are not noisy at all, and they give so much feedack. They are good in the wet but not as convincing as the dry. They are far better than the pirellis fitted as standard. I have always found yokohamas to be fantastic in dry conditions, agaonst many different brands. They are just not as good as others wet and dry. But dry, nothing can touch them. The car is so predictable at the limit.

Dry handing, steering, and grip is fantastic for this price. This is definitely a street tire but still fun on track. Comfort was good. Wet grip was acceptable but very understeer biased on a 1 series
